Transaction Brokers
Transaction Brokers provide limited representation to Buyer or Seller, or both, in the same transaction. A Transaction Broker does not represent either party in a fiduciary capacity. The Transaction Broker owes no one trust, allegiance or confidentiality—they only facilitate the transaction. Since July 1, 2003, this has been the presumed mode of operation for most real estate licensees. Clients will pay the same amount, or more, but no one is representing either the Buyer or the Seller.
